We've run the back office you're handing us.
The administrative work behind every project.
What TaskHatch does
TaskHatch is a back-office compliance company for residential contractors. We file the permits, answer the city's comments, coordinate the inspections, and keep the licenses current — so the administrative half of a project stops landing on your payroll.
Permitting is where most clients start, because it is the part that visibly costs them weeks. It is not the limit of what we take on.
Why we built it
The work is repetitive, it is jurisdiction-specific, and it does not automate cleanly. Forty cities means forty portals, forty sets of forms, and forty ways to be told no.
That is exactly the kind of work a contractor should be able to hand to somebody else at a published price, without a contract and without a platform fee.
So that is what we built: one price per project, corrections included however many rounds they take, and inspection coordination priced separately for the crews that want their techs on the roof instead of in a four-hour window.
Who runs this
TaskHatch was founded by a compliance leader who has personally pulled thousands of permits and led permitting teams that have filed in 300+ jurisdictions across 20+ states — and who has spent fifteen years running the rest of it too: contractor licensing, insurance and bonding, subcontractor qualification, fleet, and safety compliance for some of the largest residential contractors in the country.
That's the experience behind every project we take — including the ones in cities we're seeing for the first time.
The company
TaskHatch is operated by TaskHatch, LLC. Services are governed by the published Terms & Conditions.
